Two stars from Bravo’s Summer House and Southern Charm have just broken off their engagement: Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover. DeSorbo declared the news on the “Giggly Squad” podcast, saying to viewers and listeners that the divorce was mutual. She said she really likes Conover and appreciate him because he was one of the best people she has ever come across in her life and the best boyfriend she ever had.
Lam and her boyfriend started the year dating in 2021, and their relationship was depicted in their reality series. Still, as tight-knit as they are, DeSorbo said that Ortega noted that they grew individually as people and had different visions for their future to call it quits. “I think we were both just being very grown up and saying what we feel and what we don’t feel okay about,” she said.
Responding to questions about whether they had split months prior or whether the decision was timed to their shows, DeSorbo commented on the rumors. She expounded, “Nobody can prescribe to me how to go about my business.” The network has influence but it is with a grain of caution that they don’t have much power.
There is no statement from Conover himself as to the break up at the moment. This is especially so bearing in mind that the couple has been hit by recent speculations of engagement which were being discussed on the social media over the holidays.
DeSorbo and Conover have been in a relationship while both having to juggle through their strenuous careers. DeSorbo co-hosts the “Giggly Squad” pod cast and have been on tour with her co-host Hannah Berner and Conover owns a home goods company known as Sewing Down South located in Charleston South Carolina.
Even if they are not romantically attracted to each other anymore, DeSorbo said he thought he and Conover could still be good friends as he said, “I think we will remain friends.”
